Most of us have an inner-critic and all of us have an inner wise, compassionate part of us. Part of emotional resiliency training is learning to turn toward our inner critic with curiosity, and to tune in to the wisdom of our wise, compassionate part.

Hello there Rion. Thanks for your question. You can click on the “Download” button and then you’ll find an option to download the meditation – you my need to click on three dots or something else that indicates there is more to see on that page. Please let me know if you’re having any trouble with this. Thanks for using my meditations <3
Thank you, Kristy, from my heart for this meditation. I had been feeling overwhelmed by my inner critic for several days and could not find my way out of the darkness. I felt lost. This meditation was profound. When I connected with my Compassionate One, I felt comforted but really didn’t expect any words to come through. I was utterly surprised when they did, one at a time, just three words, three messages. I carried them with me all day today like jewels in my heart. My body relaxed as a space opened up between me and my inner critic and I’ve been able to “mother” my terrified inner critic. Sending you much gratitude.
Thanks so much for commenting, dear Mary. I’m so glad that this meditation resonated for you and was able to bring you some more freedom in being with your inner experience and your inner critic. I’m so happy that the words that came from you inner compassionate part were so profound and helpful. I love that you carried them in your heart all day. May they continue to nourish and soothe you. Very happy to be in community with you, my friend.
What a beautiful meditation! Thank you for having this available. I have done this several times and each time provides a new shade of color, a new layer in the landscape and sometimes like today, the two of them just played. Simply throwing a ball, amidst a few tears and tender smiles…no words needed, but acceptance of the other was heartwarming. Much Love and Thanks.
Thanks so much for commenting, dear Susan. I love the imagery of your inner critic and your inner compassionate one playing 🙂 Glad to be in community with you, my friend.
Thank you Kristy. This meditation was just what I needed. So interesting and enlightening to meditate on what my inner critic was frightened of. Your voice is very soothing. Namaste
Thanks for offering your reflections, dear Hannah. I’m glad we’re in community together.
Dear Kristy, over the years your guided wisdom practices have eased the way with tools for navigating and balancing bright sorrow and dark joy. Do you happen to have not-for-profit status? Gratefully, and Yours Truly, Suzy D
Hello dear Suzy. I’m glad the practices on this site have been beneficial for you. Thanks so much for sharing that 😊. And thanks for asking about not-for-profit status – my business does not have not-for-profit status. Take care, Kristy.
