Spending time in a group can be a great way to move from an understanding of MSC concepts to a felt experience of how the work moves in our internal landscape. An invitation to mindfulness, often though a guided meditation, sets a peaceful stage for learning. The common humanity in our experience is clear when we hear other people talk their exploration and adventures. And an environment of kindness is fostered by the teacher and in the spirit of the instructions as we are constantly prompted to ask “What do I need right now?” We can get some of this from reading books and watching videos, but “being there” can really bring the message home. I hope to see you at one of these events.
